Job Description: Catalyst is looking for a highly skilled Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning motion graphics, animations, and video content that captivate and engage our audience. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to produce high-quality visuals that align with the company’s brand identity and storytelling goals. Key Responsibilities: - Create custom motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for social media, digital ads, presentations, and promotional materials. - Design compelling intros, outros, transitions, and overlays for video content. - Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard animations. - Stay up-to-date with the latest animation techniques, trends, and tools. - Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. - Enhance videos with color correction, sound design, and special effects. - Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure visuals align with branding and messaging. - Bring creative ideas to life, ensuring videos and animations communicate the intended story and evoke the desired emotions. - Manage and organize digital assets, including footage, templates, and project files. Qualifications & Skills: - Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, Video Editor, or similar role. - Proficiency in software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator (or similar tools). - Strong understanding of video editing principles, color grading, and sound design. - Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual composition, timing, and rhythm. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals. - Familiarity with 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender, Maya) is a plus.
